Hello, I'm new to Yorkie Talk, but find everyone here so helpful. My mother and I are thinking of taking a vaction in October to Myrtle Beach, SC. I mentioned taking Smoky (my 14 month old Yorkie with me). My mom said she wouldn't mind at all. I've never travelled that far (12 hours and he isn't fond of the car) with a dog, and was wondering if anyone had any input. How often to stop and let him stretch his legs? Should I get something from the vet to sedate him? When we go out to dinner, leave him in his kennel in the hotel room?? I would miss him terribly
, but would he be happier at home with my sister in law checkin in on him daily? Any help is greatly appreciated.
