I believe most Yorkie breeder's and owner's do prefer AKC for their
registry especially if their breeding dogs are registered to it.
Stop and think how many puppies are diagnosed with one ailment
or another before one year old. You read so many just here on YT.
If one breed has wonderful results from this way of registering and
"almost" guaranteeing a healthy pup then other's should follow this
as well. The purpose of registering this way is to better the breed
and help as much as possible to keep it healthy and closer to breed
standards.
