This is a very interesting thread. I have never heard of the nose and eye rims and nails changing color after pregnancy. I know that after my females first litter, her coat color change quite a bit--her blue coat took on a lot more tan near her hind quarters--but only on the top, the underneath is still as blue as ever. (If that makes sense at all, I don't know who to better describe it.) I'd always heard it was a due to a hormonal change that pregnancy often brings on.
