Hello,

I have a 6-month old male Yorkie named Prince. We've been training him to go potty on the pee pads and at first there were many accidents but for the last two months he's been really great when he has to pee (pooping is a different matter). He hasn't had any pee accidents in all that time until today. He just peed on the couch!

I'm not sure why he would do that. Is this common? Do they have setbacks like this from time to time? If so, do I revert back to crate training until he stabilizes again?

FYI, he loves to sleep on the couch when we're home. I put a blanket on the couch and he likes to lie there. Because he sleeps there I didn't think he'd pee there. What could be going on?
