Yea Chip isn't a huge fan of people either. He tolerates adults that he doesn't know (he loves the family and close friends of course), but he dislikes most children. I think his big problem is because I'm 21 and my husband is 23. We don't have kids and most of our friends don't have kids, so he's not around them enough. When he is around them, it's usually at public places and a lot of parents don't teach their kids how to treat dogs. I had a group of five little kids ages 5-8 surround Chip when he was a baby and started pulling at his hair!!!

Another kid asked if he could pet my dogs and just as I was saying that he could pet Smokey, but not Chip, he started chasing Chip around my legs. Chip was trying to hide from him and I kept trying to tell the kid stop and he wouldn't. Finally Chip snapped and the kid just looked at me. I basically said "I told you so". I wish all parents taught their kids how to act

lol
