it was nerve wrecking but also a little funny when we first caught Smokey marking his territory....he is short and compact....so his pee line is only about 2-3 inches above the ground.....i went to the kitchen and he had marked all around it.....across my stove, the dishwasher, and the frig....and a small wall that we now lovingly call the Smokey wall....cause even with cleaning and cleaning you can still see the dark line about 2-3 inches off the floor....lol....little stinker!!!
