Also, there are veggie burgers out there with NO soy and they taste yummy! I can send you some links if you'd be interested in buying them. I also love raw burgers (like I just had for lunch a spinach salad and a raw sunflower seed/veggie burger. It looks JUST LIKE a real beef burger and tastes sooo similar (it even SMELLS like a burger lololol) but it's soy and gluten free and all veggies and seeds. SOOOO DELICIOUS, you would love it!!!

Without getting into too much detail, I use to have a lot of problems w/ my menstral cycle. Once it stopped all together and I went to a whole bunch of doctors and specialists and it was determind that the soy was doing it. So now I avoid soy and diet soda all together (diet soda is bad for weightloss -- makes you hungry). Again, this is just me. I know a lot of people love diet soda (I personally use to be addicted to Diet Coke, no joke) but I gave it all up and what a huge difference it has made!

If you ever want to talk about this in more detail, just PM me. I've been doing a lot of research on this subject lolol Make sure you are getting enough protein. I eat more raw vegan than I do vegetarian because vegetarians eat dairy and bread and too much bread it just fattening. I still have some bread once in a while and dairy too but only once in a while. I do about 85% vegan and 15% vegetarian because once in a while I want some fresh mozzarella in my salad or I will be in the mood for a bowl of cereal.

For example, if I want a burger on a roll, I will have a whole wheat pita (they are only 70 calories) and put a raw sunflower burger on it w/ lettuce, tomato, sliced pickles and red onion and it's amazing -- better than any other burger I ever had!
Wow that is really interesting. I do eat soy but due to the possible cancer links do limit it but your situation is new to me- I guess another reason to limit it. I would love to know the non soy brands you use and I will definitely be giving your walnut burgers a try.
