Deb is exactly right! I get so many ridiculous emails everyday about political stuff. As a political science major, I always feel a need to research each one and then respond to the sender with legitimate resources and explanations why things look worse than they are. It really is so easy for some people to spin possibly innocent actions and words into something outlandish and slanderous. Snopes.com is a good resource for checking emails like this out.
