Which proves what? Who the parents were? And who were they? Two standard colored Yorkies? How far back do the DNA results go? For every dog within the lineage back to before the color variation ocurred? |
I did not name them Parti. AKC calls them a parti colored dog. To me they are Gold and White yorkies. to the AKC they are Tan yorkies with Parti Color.
So who is to say none of your dogs carry the gene? The only way to find out quickly would be to breed them to one who does. Or possibly someone with a good understanding of genetics could tell you. I know for a fact that a breeder of champion Yorkshire terriers had white pups come from one of there champion dogs just last year.
