And one last thing... just because you aren't breeding show dogs, doesn't mean that your dogs don't need to be tested for genetic disorders. Yorkies tend to be very susceptible to disorders like luxating patellas, liver shunts, etc and the surgeries, procedures, and medicine to fix these things are very, VERY expensive and are very painful for the dogs to go through and for the ones that love them to watch them go through.

Also, the reason people are touchy about this has nothing to with a dog having babies, it has to do with the fact that she is 9 months old. If you do the math (dogs age 7 times faster than humans) it like asking a 5 year old human girl to have a child.
