if you read the post correctly i said we have only one vet here in town and he is out of town right now and other than him its 4 hours. so if (notice the word if) she is pregnant then we will make sure we have set up with the vet that he will be here in town and ready at any time. no we did not have them tested. i am not breeding show dogs or anything like that i am just looking to give some great people a great pet that they normaly wouldnt be able to get. if it turns out to have health problems in a few years yeah that will suck but such is life. i didnt get tested with my spouce to see if my children may develope any type of disorder and i highly doubt any of you did too. in response to what are we going to do on her next however many heats she has. of course we will have to seperate them or get them fixed and we know that. also irresponsibility or not i my male will be there to witness it all until he gives me a reason or my female does then i will not let him be there. also i do not believe that anyone has been bashing or anything like that. i think people are a little to touchy on the subject and cant handle thinking that there might be a dog having babies. i assure you its ok it is natural for them to have kids like humans you are suppose to have children. they are suppose to have children. now if you are pumping pups out like its going out of style you have a problem or in my personal opinion if you have 4 bitches dropping a litter every so often what makes you any better than the next guy? accidents happen with animals and people. life happens you live with it and get over it. so my suggestion to everyone is get over the fact that my baby may (notice the may) be pregnant i highly doubt she is because she is now between her 4th and 5th week and i have noticed no difference in her teats, volva, weight, size, appitite, belly hair thinning, aggression, or any other sign of pregnancy now yes maybe she is a mirical dog that doesnt show a single sign of pregnancy but that would take me back to the original post. i was asking if there is any sure sign that she is pregnant and also after a month how big would embryos be? nothing about am i irresponsibil for leaving the dog together or advise on if i should get them fixed. i know its hard to leave the one track mind rail but if you dont have an answer for the original question its all just static. and until people start acknowlaging the original questions thats all this thread will be is static and they may as well just delete it because its doing no good for everyone. not answering questions, and just sturing people up. again i thank those who have actually helped the situation and those who understand that life happens.
thanks
