I may go that route--I was trying to shoot for Dec 31st so that hubby and I would miss as few days of work possible and so that the kiddo wouldn't miss any school. But that week wouldn't be so bad, I'd miss 2 days of work (and have vacation, so...) and she'd miss one day of school....hmmm...
I can definately wait until last minute without it putting me in a bind. It's a trip I'm trying to surprise the family with for Christmas, but if it doesn't happen I can get them something else and they'll never know what they never had.
I have signed up to get updates from a few sites. Another thing, and I'm wondering if I will have to book directly through the airline to do this....I need to have a flight where I can reserve specific seats so that we can sit together....
