 Battle of the brush
Can someone give me some info on how to brush my 3 month old yorkie. He will not sit still and tries to nip at my hands when I try to brush him. He does pretty good getting a bath. If he sees me with the brush he will back up and start barking. I have had him 3 weeks and I have tried to brush him everyday. I use treats but to no avail. He just hates to be brushed. He does great in every other aspect. He is completely pee pad trained and trained outside. He never has an accident in the house. He is completely crate trained and never cries to get out. He has slept all night since day one with no accidents in his crate. My only concern is trying to groom him. He lets me brush his teeth with no problem. I have an appointment with a groomer in 3 weeks. Hopefully she will have more success than I've had.: |
