If you can afford to get her and have the space and time for both of them then I see there is no reason to NOT get her!! With yorkies, the more the merrier. It is better for a dog when they are not the only dog because it allows them to socialize and interact. If the boyfriend doesn't agree a little...seduction would help hehe
