The reason for the satin balls is for the weight gain. SO it is a high fat. If you boil the hambuger, then you lose the fat contant....
If you are not looking to have the pup gain..then this is not the receipe for you...what are you trying to do? Also..you would give a small amout to the dog depending on the size. The greyhound that I gave had a full cup every day sometimes twice. But if I was giving to my 4# Max I would only give a tablespoon or so......
