It is probably not the vet's fault.
With the girls after spays, they can get urinary incontinence (which some people will deny). This doesn't really go away. With the boys, I'm not sure. It is not uncommon for urinary issues after surgery but most will go away. He really does need to be checked though and yes, Banfield covers the basics and any problem after that is very expensive to treat. Some of the vets aren't great either. It depends on the location.
