Thank goodness, we were lucky and only had damage to tree limbs and nothing major.
I can imagine how terrifying it must have been for people in Texas with the hurricane, because the aftermath with the winds here was scary enough!
Our power came back on after 4 hours, but for some it could take up to 3-4 days. Most of the schools are closed today and quite a few roads are closed!
Our babies were a nervous wreck yesterday! The winds never let up for about 5-6 hrs.
I hope everyone in Texas and everywhere else is doing ok!!
you got that in Ohio ? WOW

It's so scary isnt it ? ....3 people killed ...that's awful .....I heard the storm was causing more damage but didn't know the winds were that strong

And you're so right - it IS terrifying. I still can't believe how bad this hurricane was even though we could SEE how huge it was. I hope we don't see a bad hurricane like this for a long time to come. My whole city is still without power. I don't even know how I got so lucky cause I'm right in the middle of the grid that has NOTHING (which is most all of Houston)

I'm glad you're ok.
