 Help!!
Lily was spayed on Wed. Sept. 10 and she has had diarrhea since she came home but is getting worse by the day and this morning at 3am she started throwing up and has thrown up constantly since!! She has been on "Metacam" (pain medicine) once a day since she came home and I thought maybe that was causing it? She won't eat or drink anything and I called the Vets office (that spayed her and gave her an "extra SHOT" that she didn't need) there isn't anyone in today so they just said to "take her to urgent care if I am concerned or else don't give her anything to eat or drink until she stops throwing up and pooping"???????
I tried to give her ground beef & rice earlier and I have tried everything I know to try but I am afraid she is going to dehydrate if she doesn't stop soon?? Is there anything I should be doing to help her???? THANKS!!!!! |
