We probably don't even see the same thing when we look at the same thing in person. I mean the rods and cones of the eye the amount of light or the intensity of the color, I think that why some people prefer colors that others think are aweful. I've tested my monitor color by printing out something before, and that can give you an indication how other people are seeing what you see, if your printer settings are correct that is.
