I wait until Maggie goes down for a nap and then I do her hair up. Sometimes after I brush her out, she will sit still long enough for me to band her hair. I usually put something on her every day. and if comes out while they are playing, I put it back in. I will take them out at night (both Hot Rod and Maggie) Hot Rod is a year old and he will sit still for me to band his hair. Good luck.
