Default Patella Luxation (Knee) Surgery

Hello everyone

My little guy Brinkley is 11mo. The other day he was wet from the dew on the grass in the morning & when we came in from outside he ran through the house on the laminate floors slipping & sliding all over the place until he got to the living room on the carpeting. Well during that he injured his bah hind leg really bad. Right now the vet put him on anti inflamatories & pain med & slid it back in it's socket. If he does seem any better within about 5 days he will need x-rays & surgery. Which is this patella luxation surgery. The vet said it's common in these little guys I am sooo worried about him. This was 2 days ago. He is a bit better, but is extremely scared of the laminate flooring now & refuses to walk on it. I put him on the flood & he just stands still. He isn't completely himself that's for sure. Has any of you had to deal with this & what was the outcome & cost???
