Raw can be very dangerous for some dogs with compromised immune systems because they just can't process this much bacteria, so kibble shouldn't contain it. It should be "safe".
The CDC also issues a warning to wash hands after touching your dog's food because there appeared to be a connection between kibble and salmonella in humans. People don't end up washing after and think that kibble shouldn't hurt them whereas raw feeders know to be careful.
That is how I see it at least.
