Is there a specific reason for doing it right now?

I agree with Deb. Coqui seems much to small to be having surgery. He looks pretty young in your avatar picture. I would wait til he is older and a little bigger before having him neutered. Keeping in mind that even a little weight gain is ALOT for these small dogs. Let him get a little bigger before putting him through that. JMO

The same would apply to Chloe; how much does she weigh?
Nevermind that one, I just looked at the pics in your album and Chloe seems to look big enough; she should be fine.
