 diet suspicions
A couple of weeks ago I have slowly introduced Latte to actual dog food-Blue Buffalo fish-based formula and treats (no corn/wheat). She has been scratching a lot more and licking her paws-mostly the scratching has been prominent. (Mostly under her "armpits". I spray Benedryl spray on those areas to help. I haven't given her any of the cortisone I still have and have been trying to figure out exactly what might be bothering her. Today I gave her only fresh cooked white fish and some fresh sweet potato (with just a teensie bit of real butter).She ate every bit!! She is now on my lap, happily sucking on her lambie puppet and snoozing.
Now, I'll try that for a few days and see if I see any changes. I am beginning to wonder if the preservatives or something like that in the commercial food is the problem??? Did anyone else ever wonder about that? |
