If it was me, I'd wait till he was a little older and full grown. he might gain a little more weight. He's not going to get cancer at this young age. Wait till he's a year old. If you have your girl spayed, he won't be getting her pregnant.
Just my opinion...i'm sure more experienced people will have more to say. it's just what I would do if I were in your shoes.
