 Eclampsia
My 3 yr old yorkie is about to give birth to her 3rd litter of pups. The last litter she had 4 pups and got eclampsia on the 10th day after whelping. Luckily I was able to get her to the vet quickly and she was ok after removing the puppies for several days. I did not want to breed her again to but she came in heat while being boarded with my male while I was on vacation. I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions about prevention of eclampsia for this litter. Any help at all would be great! |
