Thanks all for your good thoughts and prayers for those of us in TX. I was NOT worried until I saw Galveston, TX on the news this morning at 8:30 a.m. .... the ocean was coming up on the road and this was not even the storm surge yet! Galveston is approx. 2 hours from NW Houston so I don't know how bad it is going to get for us. I did hear a governor and the Mayor say that they haven't seen a hurricane this big since 1900, so yeah that put some fear in me. I am praying for the best. They expect it to come in this evening with the worst of it at 3 a.m. or so, uuughh. Like they say here in TX it's time to "hunker" down.
