The microchips are as large as a grain of rice and no bigger. So I wouldnt see a problem putting two chips in the only thing that i would question is if your dog did become lost and someone scanned the other chip found the other chip and no number and not the one that you put in what would happen then. You know? Did you ask if there is anyway they can take the old chip out?
