Could teething be causing her behavior changes and droopy ears, or does this sound wrong and maybe I should take her to the vet? I thought she may be depressed because we just moved to a new house.
What is your experience with this? |
Our Yorkie's behavior changed right around five months when he started losing teeth, and it was mainly his potty training that was affected. His ears didn't droop, but he would forget where his puppy pad was for a couple of days.
The new house may have something to do with it. I know that even when we leave our dog with my wife's parents for a few days, he's a little out of it when he comes home.
But don't worry too much. The teething goes by in about 4-6 weeks, and they get used to the discomfort and start acting normal again just a few days after those first teeth fall out.
