I would say this is America and you have the right to do what you want. I am currently in socal in a fight with my local government over penalties they want to charge me for not fixing me dogs. 200 bucks a year to register my dog just cuz he has all his parts. So just make sure you check all your local ordinances and laws before considering keeping your animals in tact. Again, we are all protected from discrimination from the constitution but its a hassle to have in tact animals...and getting a license to breed can be soooo much harder.
If you are as busy as you say i would wait till you retire or something. You will have plenty of time for it between the ages of 65 to 100. breeding and gardening hehe.
