Meeko didn't go very well on Royal Canin either. It was what his breeder was feeding hime but, he's scratch like crazy. I switched him over to Canidae and he loved it. I just took him off Canidae because of their recent formula change and am debating between Wellness Core and Orijen. Both are grain free
, which is very important. I have to say, I'm leaning more towards Orijen. He tried it today and he loves it.
