Truthfully, I don't know how to answer this question, but I will answer it the best that I can.

Peanut butter (including almond butter, etc.) is good for us humans because it provides protein, essential oils, and calories.

From a standpoint, I don't see how giving them a small spoon of peanut butter would be bad. In fact, it can be good for them because of the 3 benefits mentioned above. The benefit from oils and calories would be the same as feeding them Nutrical.

In a single tablespoon of peanut butter, there is approximately 4 grams of protein. 4 grams is nothing! I've fed my Yorkie a serving of salmon or chicken, and that was just a bit smaller than the size of a deck of cards. This amount equates to approximately 18 to 20 grams of protein.
