Is there any information on their website about requirements for adoptive parents? Most will state their policy, i.e. fenced backyard, no small children, etc.
Rescue groups usually get flooded with applications for young, healthy dogs like this one. If you feel you meet their requirements and have excellent vet references, I'd fill out an application. If they don't adopt to homes with children your son's age, or require a fenced yard, your application probably wouldn't be approved. |
