True. Well, I used to be able to bend my thumb straight back until it touched my wrist. Can't do it any more, though.
TPBM can make the Spock sign with their hands without any trouble. You know, the Vulcan sign where you spread have your hand flat and you make a space between your ring finger and middle finger.
