It's not only Petsmart. Watch out for Petco too. I called and made Daisy an appointment for a trim. She has a nice long coat and I just wanted it cleaned up a little. Following the advice of YTers I brought in pics of how I wanted her trimmed. I showed them to the gal at the counter who called a groomer over. I requested that she be scissor cut. After going through the pics the groomer informed me that they do not use scissors at any Petco and that she would be shaved. I told her no way, picked my Daisy up and left with her.
I am so glad I followed the advice on the boards here. I could only imagine what would have happened if I just dropped her off for the trim and came back to find her shaved down.
It would have been a long night in jail for me!
