I had just gotten my 3 boy's off to school and my youngest had the day off of pre school, I got him his breakfast and turned on the new's and they had live coverage and I called my mom and told her to turn on the new's we saw the second plain hit the 2nd tower and I remember crying. I ran upstairs to get my husband, he worked nights, We watched more new's and then the news of the Pentagon and the plain in PA... we got worried about what else could be going on and we went and got the boy's from school.
My Dad works for the county offices ( he drive the Vets to the V. A. hospitals that is in Cleveland and was in Cleveland at the Wade Park hospital and they had all government buildings on lock down so my mother was having a hard time getting a hold of him. I stayed on the phone with her till dad was able to talk to her and ease her mind till he was able to get home to her.
It was such an emotional time and I will never forget that day. My heart still goes out to the families that lost a loved one.
