 Swallowing big pills?
How do you all get your yorkies to swallow larger pills? My yorkie has been given Omega pills to take. They're rather large, larger than his kibble. I tried giving him one to see if he'd eat it on his own and he put it in his mouth and spit it out about 20 times before I took it away from him. I've seen those pill pockets but since they're so big he'd have to bite it, and it's a gelcap so I'm sure he'd notice the difference in texture and spit it out, I'm guessing the same would go for cheese...Any thoughts? |
