HA!! No kidding. I have a cheap pair for stepping outside with the dogs, not for public though!! However, my girls like them, and my 3 year old has a Sketchers pair like the Crocs. The kids love them dumb things and we as parents let them get them because we are lazy and the tots can put these on by themselves and never need you to tie the laces, lol.
I don't know who on earth would not hold a 3 year old's hand on an escalator
