The dog whisperer had an episode fabout this a week ago. He advised the people to desensitze the dog by taking the leash down and then putting it back and putting the leash on the dog and then not going anywhere.
It might be worth a try.
BTW I take 5 for a walk at the same time. You don't know what crazy is until you've tried that. |
