oh wow - I'm watching the news right now - parts of Bayou Vista (Galveston) are already having storm surges & serious street flooding - the sun is OUT and Ike isn't even close to hitting us ...
this is not good.
Galveston is an hour from Houston - My sister had a mandatory evac at 7 am this morning - looks like my mom may have a full house this weekend. I don't know if I can do this alone.
