We did!! We just rented the RV but we are seriously considering buying a dodge "sprinter" have you heard of those?? They are SO beautiful!! My b/f is a rock climber, so he will also use it for all his Yosimite and Joshua tree trips too... We have been looking since we got home... Where we stayed, Carpinteria state beach is gorgeous, and dog friendly... You should check it out, spots right on the sand, personal firepit & picnic tables... It's AWESOME!!!
