First it is Clicker.
Have a look at clicker solutions

ClickerSolutions Home

Or Karen Pryors site Karen Pryor Clickertraining| dog training and cat training info, books, videos, events

DejaVu so sorry but you do not have to carry a clicker 24/7 for the rest of your life. My dogs are clicker trained and see it once in a blue moon now the basic are trained.
Actually you need never carry a clicker at all you can use a word but the sound of the clicker is much clearer and fasteer to mark the momment a dog gets something right.

It a tool and if used properly you wean the dog off the clicker unless working a behavior as soon as possible.

See below post for a clicker training primer from one of the best in the industry.
