Exclamation Orijen vs Acana - pls help decide, ASAP

Hello again doglovers

I'm having a stressful week. I've decided to change my dog's diet (a yorkie and a shihtzu) but it's very hard to find good quality food here in my country.

Only Orijen and Acana are available, but I'm very much undecided on which one to get.

Orijen has very high protein. I'm also still undecided on the whole protein is bad or good thing. On the other hand, it is grain free. Some are saying Orijen is better suited to larger breeds. Others are saying high protein = kidney problems is a myth.

Acana has food for smaller breed. Much easier on my pocket *blush* But it only gets 4 star ratings on dogfoodanalysis.com, while Orijen has 4. Although, if Orijen is not suited to smaller breeds anyways, that rating is moot imho. It does have brown rice as the 6th ingredient though, if you're into that kind of thing.. which I think I am *grimace*

I am going to the petstore tomorrow (right now it's 11.02PM), so replies within the next 12 hours are kind of important. I would love some advice from other members here who has experience with either one of these brands. I would like to hear about its palatability, since I am going to feed it to my shihtzu who is a very VERY picky eater.

Thank you beforehand! Pls reply asap, I appreciate any and all!

Love and puppy kisses,

Babz, Mocha & Lulu
