Well, I wanted to wait until he is older but my husband thinks that since we have a health guarantee we need to go ahead and get it done. From what I understand about the disease is that it is a birth defect, something that happens in the mothers womb. So, if he doesn't have it now, he won't get it. The health guarantee specifies that we have to have the puupy vet checked within 48 hours of recieving him. So if I wait until he is older for the test and it shows up, I am going to be out a lot of money, plus have a very sick baby that I've grown attached to. Thanks for your answer.
