Default Growling and Snipping??

Zoe is really territorial but I can tell she's very insecure, too. If the cats or Guinness challenge her growling or snipping, she immediately falls back and lays flat or rolls over.

But it really gets to me how territorial she's being. I say no and she listens, but she will get mean and not want the kitties or Guinness near me.

I have let her work it out herself with Guinness and I was wondering if that's the right thing to do? The cats ignore her for the most part. She was guarding the water dish and they would look at her and drink anyways while she had her nose all scrunched up. I moved her away from the water dish because that's a community dish, not just hers.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Dena
