Your vet is doing the test correctly. You might prefer to wait until your pup is a little bit older so that he's better able to stand the fasting. You might call your vet and ask if Nutrical will effect the test results. If not, give him Nutrical before bed and upon waking. Once the first tube of blood is drawn, he can eat.
