I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your beloved Molly. She sounds like a wonderful dog. Newfoundlands are one of my favorite breeds. I am so glad you did not have to PHTS. I have had to make that decision way too many times in my life, and it never gets easy. I'm always grateful when my old dogs die on their own and I don't have to make that final decision.
Maybe if you have room in your yard, plant a tree in memory of Molly. I have trees I've planted for several of my dogs, and they always make me feel better when I water them, and watch them grow. I love having a living memorial for all my old friends.
