She's really young, most don't know what a newspaper is at that age. I used pee pads with Joey, but made some washable pads that worked better with him. I noticed he just loved going on the little blankets that were in his playpen. I think you need to keep her in a small place like a playpen or you could also crate train. This site has some excellent advise on housebreaking your dog, remember it's written with all breeds in mind, and you might have to adjust some of the "times" for yorkies, since their bladders are smaller, and may need to go more often. I would keep Joey in a small crate at night next to my bed, during the night I would place him on a pee pad in the bathroom, at this age you might have to do this 2 or 3 times. As she get older maybe once. If the crate is small enough, she won't go in her bed, but will cry, and wake you up, don't ignore the cries and make her hold it go to the pad. In the morning I would always take him outside first thing, because I wanted to duel train him.
