I haven't tried one on my Yorkie yet, but I used one on my Lab. It does take a little time. And the ones I've seen never get to the point where they ignore it completely.

However, it's still a good idea if you've got a puller.

I don't know what they say in the video, but I'd suggest putting it on him without the leash for a while. Let him walk around the house with it. Distract him with treats, games, toys. Start out with just 5 minutes, then increase it. Once he gets to the point where he tolerates, then move to the leash for short walks.

When on leash, be satisfied with just a fews steps at first. Then praise and treat. Always end the practice sessions on a positive note -- a treat for a few steps.

Someone just gave me one to try on my Yorkie, so I'll give it a shot and share any experiences with you. Good luck.
