you guys are so amazing here with all of your encouraging words and so caring. Today was just as hard as yesterday, I'm trying to accept that she is waiting for me, it's a little easier to talk about but not much. The vet said her kidney levels should have been at 20 and they were at 170(not a typo). He said there was nothing they could do, they just started shutting down. My mom and I got her when I was 10 years old from a pet store, not knowing any better, but after we did the research you already have fallen in love and we just decided to take care of her. she had a great 11 years with us and we love and miss her dearly. We think she was from a puppy mill, we will never know for sure but she had a lot of problems even when she was a puppy. It just breaks my heart. We went there yesterday and I took my Jasmine (they were best friends) and Jasmine went into Nutmegs bed and cried for a few minutes like where is she and then she just slept there for prolly a good hour. It is so sad, Ive never lost an animal before, it's extremely hard to go through and not many people understand because they think it is just a dog, which they are not she is a part of my family. We are getting her cremated and we will have her back next week, it just sucks, I haven't felt this lonely in a very long time. R.I.P. Baby we love and miss you dearly.
